Artist Biography:
De’Bee Raatikainen-Kuzanek was born in Leominster, Massachusetts in 1968. She currently resides in North Texas with her husband Doug and children. Being a multi-creative artist, Kuzanek has had success in creative writing. She has numerous publications as author, photographer, artist, and poet as well as recieving various awards and recognitions.
Since the early age of four, De’Bee has been artistic with mediums such as: paints (oil, acrylics, and watercolors) and pen/pencils, to merely name a few.
At the age of twenty-four she highly developed her creative technique in digital graphics, illustrations, photographic manipulation and restorations.
Currently at the stylish age of thirty-nine her talents have been most successful and recognized by the famous New York “SoHo” Art District, who had invited De’Bee and her works of genius for presentation in their galleries and museums.
Her new-fangled specialty is "The Adventures of Frankie The Frog & Friends. These safety awareness novels and coloring/activity books for children are brilliantly exciting and highly adored. This Finnish- American beauty; De'Bee Kuzanek aka "Switch" is just overflowing with numerous, exceptional talents. Her entertainment professions vary from modeling (including Playboy & Maxim style) for camera, magazine, event, and runway. She is an unsigned, solo singer- song writer with uniquely, strong vocals. She has been in the Dallas Top 10 Underground Indie Radio Charts for music from the “Make The Switch” CD. She has two #1 songs: “Mr. 2-Faced”, and “Sickened.” Both have received credits as being the "Most Played Songs”. | Her song “Kingdom Of The Moon” was awarded “The Best 2005 Rhythm and Blues Artist for Lyrics & Acoustic Composition.“
Her amazing songwriting and lyrics have recently been of interest to Nashville’s Paramount Group, offering her a songwriting contract, but Switch refused their offer. De'Bees' life long dream is to land a major-record deal. As Switch, she has done some acting for local, independent film companies and wishes to further her career in acting and/or radio.
Switch has done several compilation tracks and CD’s as backup vocals for Swisher House’s Jay-Dee the Kidd and Mike Jones.
